Tutorials
Here are some basic drawing tutorials I've created. They are meant for amateur artists, especially those who have just started drawing. These tutorials focus on teaching how to draw a head and face that is at least semi-realistic, as appears in classic American comic books. Even if you're more interested in drawing in a more Japanese style, I hope you take the time to look at my tutorials so you can compare some of the similarities and differences in the construction of the face and head. I hope all of you who look through these tutorials will learn something that you find helpful. Remember, anyone can "practice, practice, practice" and just draw the same mistakes over and over again; make sure to keep practicing with intent to improve. Don't forget, I haven't stopped learning about drawing either! There's always more to learn, no matter how good you are.

Please do not link directly to this page or any of the individual tutorial pages. Please link only to tim-flanagan.com. Do not take these tutorials and put them on your own site. These are the only tutorials I have planned at this time. Any emails I receive that are along the lines of "How do I draw such-and such?" will be ignored.
